It's not perfect, but It's nice

The warm indoor pool was a delight for our little one. Our spacious apartment accommodated all four of us comfortably, ensuring a nice family getaway. We'll definitely return to relive those joyous moments.

It's great value hotel with unbeatable location hot in area. The services are exceptional, including an excellent pool.

I really enjoyed staying at Monte Gordo Hotel Apartamentos & Spa. It's new, therefore everything was working properly and providing a pleasant stay. The bed was nice and comfortable and, we asked for a cradle and we got it.The breakfast was very pleasant, with natural fruits and natural orange juice, with is a small luxury.

The receptionist, from my point of view, did not provide us information on the Hotel facilities, but I believe this is due to the fact that this place is new and everyone is gaining expertise on how to best perform their tasks. I'm sure soon this minor issue will be overcome.

The hotel is a nice pleasant modern hotel; the rooms we stayed in were nice and big with nice sized glass sliding doors onto a balcony, the bathroom was very clean as was the whole hotel. The breakfast was a very nice buffet, though I would have been happier if the eggs and the bacon (which was cooked just as I like them) would have been put onto a hot plate, but this is the way its often done in Portugal. But I must say we did enjoy our stay here.

It certainly is not a Spa hotel, the little cubicles and the mini swimming pool which they have are not my idea of a Spa hotel! The beds are to hard (to be fair I do sleep normally on a memory bed, which is very soft) Having to ask everyday for a new code for the internet, I did ask for a week ticket but was told that as I was only staying for 5 days I would have to ask for a new one each day! The room only having a wired socket which has a very short lead, meaning you have stand up to use the internet in the room. Only one English speaking TV channel! Lukewarm beans

Spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen for meals when you're not out causing trouble. Plenty of sunlight from windows.

The sofa-bed in the one-bedroom apartment felt uncomfortable, which wasn't great. Only having one bathroom instead of two was a hassle for the family, especially with a medical condition in tow. Some rooms have twin beds pushed together, which might not be preferable for all couples out there.

Booked last minute, was great accomodation. My only downside from our apart hotel was that we did not have a kettle! A must for Brits, instead of the cafetier which was provided brand new as was 6 months old. Once the spa and pool is fully up and running it will be excellent. The view is not great but the rest is awesome. Staff really helpful too.

Just needed a kettle in our room please...a must for the British. So we went and bought one.

Close to beach, new, well equipped rooms, comfy beds, value for money, free use of outside pool at Dunamar hotel.

Consider exploring local dining options, as they offer tasty meals just a short walk away from the hotel.

Clearly, the best hotel in Monte Gordo. We have other 4 star hotel, but very crowded with all the adjacent problems. This hotel is new and you can have private parking, which is imperial in August to go around Monte Gordo, Vila Real, and Spain, much better places to get lunch or dinner and walk around in the crowded summer. Also very nice hotel for families with children. Again, the only hotel, well prepared with everything you need. Also good to be used to stay if you want to go to Seville. We will return for sure.

No wash machine in the room. Not used anymore in a 4 star hotel. Outside pool is small, but we can live with that in a beach area.

The hotel is new and very clean.It is very comfortable.THE Breakfast is superb!!!! Its was one of the best buffet breakfast and I have ever had!

Spent a week in a spacious Superior One-Bedroom Apartment with a nice indoor pool. The staff were super helpful and accommodating Breakfast had a good variety, but the coffee could use a bit of work. A solid experience!
